Dayton Valley Days

Dayton Valley Days was a blast. There was a parade with lots of old cars, tractors, fire trucks, kids, dogs, and bands. Ever heard of a noodle sucking contest? Well, here there was. One poor boy returned his noodles onto the plate, he was just too excited. This was a good old country time. We loved it. Sand bags? Yes, they came in very handy. It was windy on Saturday and the canopy next door flew off into our booth. Next stop is Fallon, NV on Oct 3 at Lattin Organic Farms for the pumpkin patch.

Sonny and the muskrat

Dayton Sports Expo has been canceled so we have moved over to Dayton Valley Days on the same weekend. Please join us there. All of the activities are free.
I picture is of Sonny and the muskrat. We were walking along the Carson River, and Sonny wanted to go in after it. The river has lots of muskrats, geese, ducks, deer, snakes, and wild horses that hang out there. It is great place for a walk and to let the dogs swim.
We are looking forward to the fall and changing colors of the trees. We haven't been privileged to that for 5 years. It is nice to be home. Hope to see everyone at Dayton Valley Days, and we will let you know how things go.
